Earlier this morning, Bollywood actress Soha Ali Khan began her day with a delightful breakfast made by her daughter Inaaya. The young chef prepared some avocado toast and a heart-shaped omelette for her mom, beautifully arranged on an orange plate alongside her chef’s cap.

Soha shared a photo of the meal on her Instagram story with the caption, “Made with Love By Chef Inaaya.” This heartwarming moment showcases the special bond between the mother and daughter, as well as Inaaya’s budding culinary skills.
Soha Ali Khan’s Love for Reading and Libraries
Soha Ali Khan is known not only for her acting prowess but also for her love of reading. In a recent exclusive chat, she opened up about her lifelong passion for books, sharing that she was “that child who always had a book in her hand.”
The actress fondly remembers the time she spent in libraries, both during her college days at Oxford University and as a member of a public library in Delhi. “I find libraries fascinating. When you spend time in a library, you feel like reading something. Being there encourages you to pick up a book,” she says.

Instilling a Love for Reading in Her Daughter Inaaya
In this digital age, Soha has faced the challenge of getting her daughter Inaaya interested in reading. However, she has found creative ways to encourage her love for books. “I tell her that only when you finish reading this chapter you can eat the chocolate cake and watch TV. I know it’s not good to bribe your children, but I find it very effective (laughs),” Soha reveals.
The actress also follows the positive reinforcement approach, leaving books around Inaaya’s environment, just as her daughter’s school does, to inspire her to pick them up and read.
The Benefits of Reading and Soha’s Thoughts on Book Clubs
Soha firmly believes in the importance of reading, as it “encourages focus and discipline” and helps her to “not get bored easily.” She also finds reading to be a relaxing activity that shapes one’s personality, improving imagination, vocabulary, and writing style.
While Soha is not currently a member of any book clubs, she is fascinated by the idea and follows the recommendations of various celebrity book clubs, such as those of Ellen DeGeneres and Oprah Winfrey. “I think it’s a great, inexpensive social diversion at a time when people are looking for digitally free habits and hobbies,” she says.
